We currently only take Air BnB and VRBO bookings for a minimum of 4 nights so we can keep the nightly rate competitive. If you are looking for a shorter break we won't show up in the available listings on those platforms. However, we are offering a 10% discount on short notice bookings for June and July both on the booking platforms and for private bookings. If you are looking for two - three nights away please contact us directly at [email protected].

Not too long before our season opens. Once we have carried out all our checks we will be putting our offers on this page. We are on AirBnB and VRBO but often times we don't come up due to their algorithms and perhaps your selected dates. The photo is stained glass windows The Pier House. Rather splendid! It won't let me add a poll - but what would you rather supplied in a rental:
1. Dishwasher
2. Washing machine (laundrette onsite about 40 m away and spin dryer already in the property for hand washing).
3. Neither are required - happy to use onsite facilities and wash dishes by hand.

Our renovation project is ongoing for Sea La Vie. We replaced the bedroom carpets last year - and this year we are hoping to replace the lounge carpet. The question is - do you prefer carpet or perhaps a wooden / laminate flooring when on holiday? We want it to be a cosy home from home!

🚶‍♀️ Instow to Westward Ho! is one of the flattest walks on the South West Coast Path – and still packs in the views 🌊

You’ll pass colourful cottages, estuary views, and the dunes of Northam Burrows – all while walking on a traffic-free path that follows an old railway line.

Start in Instow, walk through Bideford and Appledore, then finish on the beach at Westward Ho! 🏖️
