“Joy to the world! The Lord is come,” God’s people announce at Christmastime. Based on Psalm 98, Isaac Watts’s eighteenth-century carol celebrates the coming of Jesus, the Christ. The joy of the Savior’s coming resounds throughout all of creation, even the fields and rocks and hills and plains “repeat the sounding joy.” This is good news for all of God’s world!

Christmas truly is one of the most wonderful times of the year. The word “Christmas” originates from the Old English phrase “Cristes mæsse”, meaning “Christ’s Mass.” First recorded in historical documents around the year 1038, it refers to the special Eucharistic service (Mass) held to honor and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Christmas is a time for joy, love, and connection – a season to spread warmth and happiness to those who mean the most to us. May the magic of Christmas fill your heart with love, laughter, and joy. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

As we honour Gandhi Jayanti in 2024, the timeless words of Mahatma Gandhi continue to inspire and guide us toward a better world. Gandhi’s teachings on peace, non-violence, self-reliance, and integrity offer profound wisdom that resonates deeply, even today.

Mahatma Gandhi, often called the Father of the Nation, was born in Porbandar, Gujarat, on October 2, 1869. This year marks his 155th birth anniversary. Every year, India celebrates Gandhi Jayanti to honour his immense contribution to the country’s independence struggle and his philosophy of life. October 2 is also observed as a national holiday in India.

“The future depends on what you do today.” - Mahatma Gandhi

Let us remember these words of wisdom from Mahatma Gandhi and strive to make the world a better place through peace, love, and understanding.
Happy Gandhi Jayanti!

India commemorates its 78th Independence Day today-15August2024. The nation achieved Independence from colonial rule on August 15, 1947, after a long-standing struggle spanning nearly two centuries of British rule.

This tradition began with Jawaharlal Nehru’s iconic speech, ‘A Tryst With Destiny,’ delivered on August 15, 1947, marking the dawn of India’s freedom.

India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world with a kaleidoscopic variety and rich cultural heritage. It has achieved all-round socio-economic progress since Independence. As the 7th largest country in the world, India stands apart from the rest of Asia, marked off as it is by mountains and the sea, which give the country a distinct geographical entity. Bounded by the Great Himalayas in the north, it stretches southwards and at the Tropic of Cancer, tapers off into the Indian Ocean between the Bay of Bengal on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west.

India is a nation of diversity and rich culture. Let’s all have the determination to uphold the beauty of this country.

Our forefathers taught us to keep our heads high. Let us live our lives with dignity and have the will to protect the peace and essence of our nation. Let’s make India proud as it shines brighter every day.

Happy Independence Day Everyone🇮🇳!

FIRST TIME FLYING – THIS IS EXCITING!
You will never forget your first flight. The moment the flight attendants welcome you onboard for the first time, the butterflies in your stomach as you take off and meet the person sitting next to you. You’ll always remember your first seat number and the first safety demonstration by the cabin crew. It’s an incredible feeling and you should really feel excited! The journey is as important as the destination and your first flight is something memorable, unique.

Everyone has a different experience but flying for the first time feels pretty incredible. As you take your first steps on the plane, you can feel the adrenaline rushing through your veins. The sound of the engines roaring and the sensation of the plane taking off is an experience like no other.

Flying feels like freedom, away from the city’s daily hustle and bustle, almost as calm as meditation with a hint of a dopamine rush. Ever since Wilbur Wright and Oliver Wright invented the airplane, the human imagination acquired wings and now knows no limit. Air travel is the safest way to travel and savvy travelers always favor air travel because it’s faster and less accident prone than other travel methods, thanks to experienced pilots.

Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small you are. Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.

This valentine’s day gift yourself a flight ticket to the destination of your choice and feel the love at first flight!
