🚗🏁 The legendary Mille Miglia is coming to Val d’Orcia! 🚗🏁

First raced in 1927, the Mille Miglia became one of the world’s most famous road races. After a tragic accident in 1957, the race was discontinued and, in 1977, reborn as the historic classic car rally we know today.

The 2026 edition started yesterday in Brescia, and on Thursday these beautiful historic cars will pass through the stunning Val d’Orcia.

Whether you’re staying with us at Agriturismo Poggio Antico or are simply in the area, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience a piece of Italian history. And for classic car enthusiasts, it’s definitely worth a little drive to see this unique event up close! 🇮🇹✨

What a wonderful evening at Palazzo Orca in Città della Pieve, organized by the Green Music Festival. Stefano Maffizzoni and Andrea Candeli gave a beautiful and atmospheric performance in a truly special setting.

Definitely a festival worth following this summer, as Umbria once again becomes an open-air stage, with free concerts taking place in villages, vineyards, forests, and castles throughout the region. A unique combination of music, culture, and nature. Highly recommended! 🎶✨
