We had a great experience with De Nicola Private Tours. While Fulvio was unable to drive us from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast, he arranged for another one of his drivers, Pina, to take us. She was terrific!

On the day of our planned excursion, the road was blocked by a rockslide. Fulvio contacted us that morning, explained the situation, and helped us work through the options. We ended up taking another route with Pina to get to the spectacular coastal drive and even stopped to taste some fresh mozzarella from a shop along the way. There was some extra time in the car because of our detour, but Pina was fabulous company and the time flew by. What could have been a downer because of the rockslide turned out to be a fantastic day!

Fulvio also arranged for a driver to take us to the train station in Naples, as we had a big travel day on the day we left. The driver, Raffaele, was timely, professional, and personable.

Based on our experience, I highly recommend De Nicola Private Tours for a tour of the Amalfi Coast or for private transfers to Naples from Sorrento.

Hands down, one of our most treasured days of our 2026 Euro summer. Fulvio was outstanding from start to finish. We only booked the day prior when deciding to do a private family tour. He was prompt in communication. His reviews were exceptional & what made us book & we were absolutely not disappointed! He was waiting for us when our cruise ship docked. We planned to visit Amalfi Coast & Positano. Fulvio was so chatty & informative & as we drove her mentioned a little down approaching called Altani & how the movie Equalizer 3 was filmed there. My husband & I almost fainted 😱 , it's our favourite movie! Fulvio took us there & dropped us off in the square the movie was filmed & allowed us time to explore & take photos & came back for us. It was an absolute pinch me moment & one my hubby & I treasure immensely. Another highlight of the day was the incredible restaurant Fulvio took us to for lunch. The food was outstanding, the best ravioli I have ever tasted & the views were just breathtaking! We cannot thank you enough Fulvio for your kindness & professionalism & for making our day so incredible, one we will always cherish. We will absolutely be in touch when we return! Next time to Sorrento & Puglia too, we promise!! Best wishes to you & your family & thank you so much once again
