Fukui Prefecture is known as the region where the largest number of dinosaur fossils in Japan have been discovered, and it has also gained attention for its active excavation and research efforts. The area around Fukui Station feels almost like a dinosaur theme park. 2026琵琶湖大花火大會 #滋賀縣 #花火大會

迎來第40屆的「2026琵琶湖大花火大會」，將於2026年8月6日（星期四）19:30～20:30，在大津市濱大津、縣營大津港外的湖面一帶盛大舉行。

今年除了精彩的煙火表演之外，還將結合雷射演出與無人機秀，把琵琶湖的夜空與湖面妝點成壯觀的舞台。前半段將以光影華麗揭開故事序幕，為第40屆紀念大會增添燦爛而熱鬧的開場；後半段則以與滋賀有淵源的武將與公主故事為靈感，帶來節奏鮮明的煙火演出。此外，展現滋賀的自然、歷史與飲食文化的特別企劃，也是不容錯過的看點之一。

2026 Lake Biwa Great Fireworks Festival

The 2026 Lake Biwa Great Fireworks Festival, celebrating its 40th event since it first began in 1984, is scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the waters around Hamaotsu and Otsu Port in Otsu City.

This year, the show will feature not only spectacular fireworks, but also laser performances and a drone show, turning the night sky and the surface of Lake Biwa into a breathtaking stage. In the first half, light will beautifully signal the beginning of the story and add a festive sparkle to the opening of this special 40th anniversary event. In the second half, fireworks inspired by stories of warlords and princesses connected to Shiga will unfold in a lively, rhythmic performance. A special program highlighting Shiga’s nature, history, and food culture is also one of the event’s highlights.

With the beautiful scenery of Lake Biwa as a backdrop, this will be a special summer night filled with fireworks, drones, and lasers. It’s a great event to add to your summer travel plans.
