If you have hiked Aberdare Ranges before ,then this should be an easy hike.For seasoned hikers ,it will feel like a walk in the park,for beginners it will be a very long but manageable walk.There will be a definite change in altitude but bearable compared to Elephant Hill or Satima.The Hike starts from the KWS office,down a dirt road before it ventures into the forest with an eventual ascent to the mountain.The forest is quite an ambience,in the sun it shields with a good breeze and in cold seasons you better hike in warm clothes... The trails are perfectly mapped out and the guides are very welcoming. As you approach the peak,it gets colder but the thought of finally being at the summit keeps you going. The last stretch of the hike is a descent to a valley and then an ascent through rocky ground from where you can see the summit. ... The Ultimate Journey begins here 😌
