Sunworld Safaris was established in 1997 and is still currently operating with its head office based in Nairobi, Kenya. We pride ourselves in offering select 4 x 4 safari packages, tailor made safaris and four wheel drive car hire. Our aim is to show YOU Kenya the way WE know it and to ensure that our knowledge is featured in the itineraries

we provide. We are happy to offer you our advice whether you wish to experience a fully organized safari or simply rent one of our 4x4 vehicles on self-drive or chauffeur driven basis. Being a relatively small organisation we CARE about your safari experience – you are not just a file number for us but a person willing to put all your trust in us and spending your hard earned money on a holiday in Kenya / East Africa. We appreciate this trust you have in us and hence will do our utmost to fulfill our promise to you. You will not be joined by 5 other safari guests or more in your Minibus (not very suitable for Kenya’s rough roads) but rather experience a “private safari” if you like and enjoy game drives at your own pace, choose your travel dates and give us your ideas of how you imagine YOUR SAFARI. Since we have our own fleet of 4 x 4 vehicles maintained in our in-house workshop we have several advantages over tour operators who rely on companies to provide them with transport. You can rest assured to be given a good quality safari style or luxury 4 x 4 vehicle and travel with one of our well trained driver/guides

Yesterday was an amazing day. We visited a local elephant orphanage Retiti run by the Samburu community. And I got to hug a rescued giraffe OMG. It's a fantastic place, not only for the vital wildlife work but also for the community involvement too. We've been really inspired to hear all the work being done successfully to empower Samburu women snd change their lives. Any successful wildlife project must have community involvement and wow have they done that. Thanks to dorothy_the_elephant_queen_ for the wonderful experience and education.

As a result of yesterday we are making our carbon offset donation for our tours to Kenya to benefit Retiti and CWC, two great projects that empower Samburu women. Starting next year we are donating the carbon offset for all our clients flights to local projects. One example of how our tours and safaris really make a difference to local communities. Next year we've a space for a couple on our October Kenya safari plus pumas and wolves and baby bears. Meet David – A Story of Determination

David is currently an intern at Sunworld Safaris, working diligently in our Procurement Department. Born and raised in Nairobi, David is a self-motivated young man with a deep love for music, writing, and singing.

His strength is rooted in God, and he deeply appreciates the daily encouragement of his parents, who continue to motivate him to keep going and be a positive force in their lives.

In 2008, David survived a devastating bus accident that changed his life forever. He lost his right hand and had to relearn everything using his left. Today, he not only writes with his left hand — he plays the piano too. His message?
“Never give up on your hobbies. You are not limited.”

Despite facing discrimination in school because of his physical disability, David has never let his circumstances define him. Living in Kibra, he encourages others not to let where they come from limit them from dreaming big, and not to undermine themselves.

David’s journey with Sunworld Safaris began long before his internship. We’ve had the honour of walking alongside him since he was just 8 years old, including supporting an arm replacement for several years. Today, David no longer uses it as a reflection of his confidence in who he is.

David believes in working hard, letting actions speak louder than words, and putting his full trust in God.
“No human is limited. God can change anything at any time.”

We are proud to have him as part of the Sunworld Safaris team and are inspired by his resilience every day.
