22nd September yearly is World Rhino Day.

Did you know there are five species of rhinos namely: White rhino and Black rhino, both native to Africa and three Asian species: Indian rhino, Javan rhino, and Sumatran rhino.

The white rhino is the largest with two subspecies(Northern and Southern), while the Black rhino is smaller and critically endangered.

The Indian rhino has a single horn and armored-like skin. The Javan rhino is extremely rare and found only in parts of Indonesia, and the Sumatran rhino, the smallest, is critically endangered, with a population spread across a few regions in the Southeast Asia.

Here is to protecting these majestic creatures this month and every day.
