Vervet monkey Location Diani Kenya. The vervet is a small, black-faced monkey, common in East Africa. There are several subspecies of vervet monkeys, but, generally, the body is a greenish-olive or silvery-gray. The face, ears, hands, feet, and the tip of the tail are black, but a conspicuous white band on the forehead blends in with the short whiskers. The males are slightly larger than the females and easily recognized by a turquoise-blue sc***um and red p***s. The vervet is classified as a medium- to a large-sized monkey. The tail is usually held up, with the tip curving downward, and the arms and legs are approximately equal lengths.

Star fish. Starfish belong to a large group of marine animals known as echinoderms. Also known as ‘Sea Stars’, they are usually seen in shallow water – so there’s a good chance you might come across one when doing some rockpooling of your own during a day at the beach

Male Sea urchin. The most easily recognisable sea urchins are round, often brightly coloured and covered in sharp-looking spines. In fact, ‘urchin’ comes from an old word for hedgehog owing to their similar-looking spiky armour.

However, there are more than 1,000 species of sea urchin, with varying characteristics.

‘Most modern sea urchins are round - they’re the regular sea urchins,'

Sea cucumbers are found in virtually all marine environments throughout the world, from shallow to deep-sea environments. Sea cucumbers are benthic, meaning they live on the ocean floor. However, their larvae are planktonic, meaning they float in the ocean with the currents.

Jambo friends!!
In 2004 I ran a travel company for 5 years which is where I met my friend and brother in Christ, Samson Waiharo. We realised very quickly how well we work together. Samson being Kenyan born and studied to be a game ranger, whilst I love speaking with clients and helping them create their perfect Africa experience. We knew we were an ideal combination!
10 years ago, in 2014, Samson and I formed Wild Africa Expeditions. Samson and friends have been bravely nursing and looking after WAE while I brought the family over to Scotland.
Now, finally, I’m ready to return to what I love and I’m passionate about. Asante Samson for being faithful and following our dream 🙏

Please feel free to message me and I’ll give you my email address. With the migration already underway, let’s start planning your dream safari in Africa, 2024/2025

This week I’m going to be putting some new packages together. Couples, families, groups of friends who want their own lodge/bus. We can plan it all. Spread the word - we’re so excited…
