The Indian Civilisation's contribution to Mathematics exhibition "From Shunya to Ananta" was held at UNON, organised by the office of High Commission of India to Kenya.

The exhibition pinpointed India's seminal contributions to mathematics, including the concept of zero and the decimal system and their diffusion across cultures and continents, contributing to the development of modern mathematics, science and technology.

Today at the United Nations Office at Nairobi, we were joined by Kazakhstan and Japan to commemorate the International Day Against Nuclear Tests through remembrance and reflection, and to renew calls for a world free of nuclear testing.

“Behind every number of explosions are people who suffered from nuclear tests; families, communities & children yet to be born,” said H.E. Barlybay Sadykov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kenya, calling on all countries to unite in strengthening efforts to abolish nuclear testing.
