I joined the 7-day Gobi tour with Tengri Tours and had a magnificent experience. The scenery was quite stunning, from giant dunes to flaming cliffs and serene valleys. I truly enjoyed in every day of this tour as every day felt like a new discovery.

Our guide, Vampy, was fantastic, she was friendly, welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable about the nature and history of this region. The tour was organized by Henry, who was always available, kind, and made everything smooth from start to finish.

Staying with nomadic families, enjoying the breathtaking views of sunsets in the desert, and the stunning image of myriad of stars at night above the desert floor made this trip truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend Tengri Tours if you're looking for a real Mongolian experience.

We had an incredible experience with Tengri tours! Henry crafted a 14-day tour for us (8 people total) and was a wonderful organizer. Everyone on our tour team was highly competent, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, attentive and supportive. Byamba our guide was fluent in English and so caring and joyful; our cook Nandia was super sweet and attentive; and our drivers were skilled experts. We ran into other tourists with different companies and they were all jealous of us. The roads are often rough and you need to be ready for a true adventure and authentic experience of the nomadic lifestyle. If you are, you are in for a trip of a lifetime!

Gobi 7 Days Tour.

"We did the full Gobi tour which was amazing. The scenery & wonderful landscapes make the driving distances worth it.
Stayed in ger camps, which have basic facilities but are still comfortable.
Our driver was brilliant. We covered approx 2000km with 1000km off-road, but the vehicle for 6 (inc driver & guide) was comfortable and we always felt safe. Our guide had great English & was very knowledgeable about Mongolian history.

Henry was really responsive & attentive to all our requests both before and during the tour. Nothing was too much trouble & he always maintained a personal touch."

Central Mongolian 4 days tour.

"Super tour to semi-Gobi, Kharkorin, and Terelj! Henry was wonderful in organizing a tour for my friend and I. He was considerate in keeping our dietary restrictions and sensitive immune system in mind when planning our tour.

I never experienced any stomach issues (which is rare for me on vacation) and never encountered any terribly unsanitary washrooms for the entire trip! We stayed in 3 different tourist ger camps and each one was comfortable and had our own washroom and shower.

Our guide Tom was so nice and chill and spoke great English. We rented beautiful traditional clothing for the days we set out and Tom was so kind to return it all himself at the end. He would always be helpful in translating our needs to the hosts at the gers we were staying at and patient in taking as many silly photos that we wanted.

We got to ride camels in semi Gobi and horses in Terelj and even spotted wild horses in Hustai. Would definitely choose Tengri Tours again!"

This is my personal favorite tour ever. If you like riding a horse and love isolated beautiful places, this tour is for you.

Enjoy three days of horse riding in endless vast mountain ranges, forests, and steppes. Staying with nomadic families, cooking in the wilderness, and sleeping next to lake is sure one of the best memories of your life.

"Had an amazing time doing the 8 day, Eight Lakes Horse Riding and Nature tour. Mongolia has such a diverse and beautiful landscape. The tour and getting to spend time with nomadic families was truly unique. Henry was super helpful when I was booking my tour and communicative. He arranged a bonus day tour after I was back in Ulaanbaatar as well. My guide, Bimba, was fantastic and kind. Our driver was great too. All around terrific expereience."

"We did the 8-day trip starting and ending in Ulaanbaatar. Thoroughly enjoyed it. You get to really experience the Mongolian culture through the people you meet and with whom you stay with. Our guide, Bymba, and our driver, Ulchii were amazing, not much of a language barrier.

The views were awesome. Even got to see some snow in end April. Highlight of our trip would definitely be relaxing in the hot springs. It wasn’t very crowded when we went, we definitely preferred it that way. Big thanks to Henry for organizing!"
