06:30 am – Salida de la ciudad de Oaxaca hacia Teotitlán del Valle.
07:00am – Desayuno tradicional en la comunidad.
08:00 am – Caminata guiada en el sendero de Xiguie (El Picacho). Ascenso de 1.5 horas, dificultad moderada.
11:00 am – Descenso al centro del pueblo y visita a la iglesia para presenciar la Danza de la Pluma.
01:00 pm – Traslado al tianguis dominical de Tlacolula de Matamoros para recorrer el mercado y comer una rica barbacoa.
03:30 pm – Regreso y arribo a la ciudad de Oaxaca.

Grupo mínimo de 3 personas y máximo de 6 participantes.

Sunday journey connecting the sacred mountain of Xiguie and the vibrant local traditions of the open air sunday market of Tlacolula:

Difficulty Level: Moderately Intermediate

Distance: 5 KM

Itinerary:
6:30 AM – Departure: We pick you up directly from your preferred location in Oaxaca City.

7:00 AM – Traditional Breakfast: Fuel up with a hearty, authentic Oaxacan breakfast.

8:00 AM – The Hike Begins: We start our ascent to Xiguie (El Picacho), the sacred mountain overlooking Teotitlán del Valle. Enjoy spectacular, panoramic valley views along the way.

12:00 PM – Tlacolula Sunday Market: We drive to the historic Tlacolula market for a guided immersion into one of Mesoamerica's oldest continuous trading traditions.

3:00 PM – Return: We begin our journey back, arriving in Oaxaca City shortly after.
