JOIN THIS NOBLE CAUSE
The INAH "Yagul" support group is organizing a fundraising dinner for the LANIRO Cultural Festival (Grand Fiesta) 2025, which takes place every year at the Yagul Archaeological Zone to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the declaration of the Yagul and Mitla Prehistoric Caves as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. LANIRO brings together more than 20 communities from the Valley of Oaxaca at this ancestral site to celebrate their culture and heritage with workshops, dialogues, and cultural and artistic activities designed to be shared and shared by the whole family, free of charge.
You can join and support this community project through this experience, "Voice of Rain: Food from Mother Earth," in which you will learn about the Yagul archaeological site guided by archaeology and anthropology specialists, prior to a ritual of permission for the ancestors of the site, guided by bearers of knowledge of the worldview and ancestral rituals.
At the end of the tour, a four-course dinner will be served, prepared by a renowned traditional cook from Tlacolula de Matamoros, who will introduce you to the culture of our Zapotec villages in the valley through their food.

Meeting point: Casa Conzati (next to the Conzati Garden), Historic Center of Oaxaca. Includes round-trip transportation from the meeting point.
Cost: $1,800 per person.
Limited capacity: 24 people.
Dinner location: Casa Patio, International Highway 190, Km 28, Tlacolula de Matamoros (1 km east of the Teotitlán del Valle intersection)
Duration: 2 hours of tour of the archaeological site and 1 hour and 30 minutes for dinner.
