KL City Photowalk (with Kim Boon & Friends) is a curated walking experience in Kuala Lumpur and beyond (extending to other cities and locations), designed for participants to slow down, observe, and rediscover the city through photography.
Rather than focusing on equipment or technical perfection, the photowalk emphasises visual awareness, storytelling, and experiencing the city at a human pace. Participants are guided to notice light, people, spaces, and everyday moments that often go unseen — whether photographing with a smartphone or a digital camera.
Each session is thoughtfully curated around specific routes and locations, balancing cultural context with hands-on observation. The experience encourages participants to photograph with intention, patience, and curiosity, transforming ordinary scenes into meaningful visual narratives.
While many of the photowalks are led by me, selected sessions may also be co-facilitated with friends from the creative and photography community, depending on the nature and location of the walk.
KL City Photowalk is suitable for visitors, professionals, organisations, and locals who wish to experience the city beyond landmarks — through its rhythm, stories, and everyday life. Selected sessions are also curated for private groups, corporate teams, and international guests.
