Arebbusch Travel Lodge is excited to offer an opportunity for a determined and dynamic individual to join our team in the following key position:

Reservationist/Receptionist

Candidates who posses a grade 12 certificate, have good communication skills and are bilingual in both English as well as at least one other relevant language, have at least two years’ experience in the hospitality industry and are computer literate with Innkeeper Software knowledge as well as typing skills are welcome to apply.

Applicants must also be service and customer oriented and be willing to work shifts, Sundays, and public holidays.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience
• Customer Service Skills

1 x Barista

Requirements:
• Barista training or 2-3 years’ experience
• Basic coffee knowledge and how to prepare coffee and other hot beverages
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong teamwork abilities and efficiency in a high-volume restaurant
• Time management and good organization skills
• Barista experience with bartending skills is a huge advantage

1 x Bartender

Requirements:
• Mixology training or 2-3 years’ experience
• Beverage and wine knowledge
• Excellent people skills in providing friendly customer care
• Strong teamwork abilities and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic and can work long hours standing
• Understand importance of hygiene and cleanliness of a bar environment

General Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and offering menus
• Taking and serving food and drink orders
• Setting tables and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant
• Flexibility to work shifts, Sundays and public holidays
• A customer focused and service care- oriented mindset is of outmost importance
• Detailed job descriptions will be provided to successful candidates
