Meet the tenant: Werner Loppies/ ANCHORPOINT

After a decade in real estate, Werner knows the pace and pressure of the corporate world firsthand. It’s exactly that experience, combined with his own journey through burnout, that led him to shift his focus.
Today, through his company ANCHORPOINT, he supports companies and professionals with in-house coaching, with a strong emphasis on preventing absenteeism before it starts.

From his coaching practice at WTC The Hague, Werner offers accessible, low-threshold support for tenants and other organisations. For WTC The Hague tenants, his presence is a real asset, providing direct access to guidance within their own working environment. Instead of waiting until employees drop out, he helps companies recognise early signals and act in time. “Absenteeism is rarely just about work,” Werner explains. “It’s often a combination of personal patterns and external pressure. The key is to start the conversation before it escalates, and that is exactly where we come in.”

His approach is practical and tailored, ranging from one-on-one coaching to broader organisational insights. By working closely with employers, he helps create healthier, more resilient teams and a work culture where people feel seen and supported.

Companies interested in learning more about his approach and services can find Werner at WTC The Hague. He looks forward to connecting and exploring how he can support organisations in building sustainable, future-proof teams. Curious how ANCHORPOINT can support your team or organisation? Meet the tenant: Chantal Kruit/ Sweco

You’ve probably walked past their work a hundred times without realizing it.
From bridges and infrastructure to biodiversity, urban planning and architecture, their expertise sits behind the environments we use every day.

As Chantal Kruit explains: “Every piece counts. Sweco focuses on large and small challenges that together make the difference.’’Since December, Sweco has been based at WTC The Hague, a move driven by a clear set of priorities.
Sustainability played a key role, with the building’s BREEAM certification aligning with their ambitions. Close to our clients, in a central location in the vibrant business heart of The Hague. Accessibility was another factor, with public transport connections right outside. But ultimately, it also came down to something simpler: “You walkin and just feel — this is it."

Chantal, 25, works as a housing coordinator, focusing mainly on renovations across Sweco’s growing network. With 15 locations in the Netherlands and over 2,400 employees, her role is to bring consistency to a diverse and expanding portfolio while ensuring that each office remains a place where people genuinely want to work, where every employee feels welcome, and where everyone’s creativity can flourish.

As Chantal describes it: upon entering the WTC building, you immediately experience an open and friendly atmosphere. Sweco feels very welcome in WTC The Hague.

Meet the team: Denise Fransen/ Commercial Assistant Cushman & Wakefield

"I walked in and thought, wow, this is impressive."

You rarely hear about the people who keep a building running smoothly, yet they are the reason everything works. Cushman & Wakefield’s Denise Fransen is one of them. Since joining in November, she has been working behind the scenes as a commercial assistant, supporting everything from lease agreements to tenant questions and parking management. “It’s really all those supporting tasks,” she explains, “the things around it that keep everything running.” Her role touches almost every corner of WTC The Hague, even if most people don’t immediately see it.

Her move into commercial real estate was a conscious one. After eight years in residential property, she was ready for a different dynamic. The commercial side feels more structured and direct. “Here it’s more businesslike. Clear, straightforward and I actually really like that.”

What she did not expect was her first encounter with the building itself. No prior visit, no real frame of reference, just walking in on her first day. “The lobby really surprised me,” she says. “It’s modern, lively… and then all the facilities inside, I didn’t expect that at all.” From the coffee spots to the restaurants, the scale and atmosphere made an immediate impression. “I had never worked in a building like this before. I walked in and thought, wow, this is impressive.”

For now, she is not focused on mapping out the next step. “What I’m doing now, I really enjoy,” she says. The priority is simple: understand the building, grow into the role and be someone tenants can rely on. Quietly essential, in a place that clearly made an impact from day one.
