Nepal is not a place you tick off. It's a place that wakes you up.
Right now it's peak spring. The rhododendron forests in Annapurna, Langtang and Everest are in full bloom, the air is warm in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and the mornings are so clear you can count the peaks from your tea cup.
Come for the Himalaya. Stay for the Newari courtyard in Patan where a grandmother still makes yomari by hand. Stay for the jeep safari in Chitwan where a rhino crosses the road like it owns it. Stay for the quiet in Lumbini at sunrise.
This is Nepal in April: best trekking weather of the year, stable trails, long days, and color everywhere you look.
If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. Bring good shoes. Leave space for surprise.
