Historian Mahesh Rangarajan stated that more than 80,000 tigers were killed between 1875 and 1925.
King George V and his entourage hunted 39 tigers in Nepal within 10 days after he took the throne in 1911.
Colonel Geoffrey Nightingale alone shot over 300 tigers in India. The Terai jungle saw thousands of tigers being killed before hunting was banned in the 1970s.
Additionally, the trend of wearing cat skin coats in the US and Europe during the 1950s contributed to the fashion craze and further fueled the tiger hunt.

Monkeys and Deer also give alarm calls when Tiger is closer. Then we wait in a hiding that has an overview at Tiger crossing or a place where it comes out to drink water. We go by jeep and walk to famous Tiger hotspots based on local's information and then wait patiently.
Bardiya and Chitwan national park are the most popular Tiger habitats in Nepal. For a small country like Nepal, 355 Tiger in the wild is the highest density in the entire Tiger territory. For the significant increase in the number of Tigers from 20 in 2010 to 125 in 2022, the Bardia national park has been awarded the TX2 award. The Royal Bengal Tiger is one of the most endangered species in the world. They prey upon a variety of animals, extremely strong, they are estimated to have the strength of twelve adult men and carry a fully grown cow above ten feet fence. In the single forest, there used to be different territorial male tigers who usually travel alone marking their boundaries. The border is marked by urine, droppings, and scratch marks to warn off trespassers.
