This past weekend, I hiked twenty miles through a Massachusetts state park with two friends to celebrate fiftieth birthdays.

The same weekend, Lael Wilcox set off to cycle around the entire world.

Same impulse. Very different mileage. 😄

It got me thinking about the spectrum of what "signing up for something" can look like—and why putting a date on the calendar is often the first step.

Fair warning: I’m a much better cyclist and tour guide than videographer. Every clip was filmed while riding, so please extend a little grace for the occasional shaky shot or editing hiccup. 😄

What started as a jokingly named “Revenge Tour” turned into an unforgettable cycling adventure across Sardinia — breathtaking coastal roads, hidden villages, pasta making, flamingos, tough climbs, and friendships forged on two wheels. 🚴‍♀️✨

Somewhere between the turquoise water, Aperol spritzes, and shared challenges, strangers became teammates and unforgettable memories were made.
