With wee break in weather we manged to get out for the last of the oysters for the season. A real nice day and flat seas today.

Ever seen a penguin fly? 🐧

Well... not quite! They can't fly through the air, but they sure know how to "fly" through the water.

We were lucky enough to have these little guys join us out on the Strait. They spent ages riding alongside the boat, porpoising through the water and launching themselves into the air. It's one of those magical wildlife encounters that never gets old.

Just another reason why every trip across Foveaux Strait is a little different. 💙🌊

Huge thanks to Matt and the team at The Grocer Tay Street for joining us today!

🥶 It was a chilly start, but that didn't stop us from having an awesome day on the water. We made our way to Port William for lunch... and who better to provide lunch than a butcher? 😄

After filling our bellies, we explored the beach, took in the stunning scenery, and rounded off the day by catching a fair few blue cod to take home.

A fantastic Sunday out on the water with great company. Thanks for coming along, team – we look forward to seeing you again!

You may have woken up to hail, frost, or even snow this morning... ❄️

Out here on Foveaux Strait, it's a different story. The sea is glassy, the views are spectacular, and looking back towards the mainland you can watch the weather rolling through with the snow sitting beautifully on the Mt Anglem and other ones around it. 🌊🏔️

Days like this remind us why we love what we do. Even better, the fishing has been outstanding! 🎣

What makes a great winter's day?

A frosty start, calm seas, beautiful winter sunshine, and fresh seafood... that's hard to beat.

But after a few great days out fishing, it's moments like this that really top it off for everyone on board. 🐬

I've never seen them jumping clear out of the water like this. It was an incredible sight and the perfect way to finish the trip home.

It's days like these that remind us why we love what we do. 🌊☀️

Finally, a break in the weather!

A wee frost to start the day, but now the sun is breaking through as we pull up at the wharf in Stewart Island for lunch. Days like these remind us why we love being out on the water.
