Well, this weather hasn't been much lately, and winter really feels like it's setting in.
The boat hasn't been out much with too many knots in the Strait, so we've spent more time tied up at the wharf than we'd like.
While the boat has been docked, I've been making the most of it by checking out some of the incredible scenery through the Mackenzie Country. Even in winter, it's a pretty special part of the world.
Here's hoping the weather settles soon and we can get back out on the water with you all. Until then, stay warm and enjoy the views wherever you are! 🌊❄️🚤

What a beautiful day out on the water! 🎣☀️

The fishing was great, the weather turned it on, and just when we thought the day couldn't get any better, we came across a pod of at least 100 dolphins putting on an incredible show.

A pretty special reminder of how lucky we are to get out and enjoy what our coastline has to offer. 🐬🌊

Woke up to 1°C this morning… ice on the truck windscreen, thick fog the whole drive to Bluff and sitting heavy in the harbour.

Then we hit the Strait and got rewarded with this beauty 🌅
Makes the early starts worth it.

Two epic weeks on the water with the North Canterbury Dive Club — 16 legends across two groups making the most of everything the south has to offer 🙌

Plenty of oysters, solid fishing sessions, and hours spent diving in some unreal conditions. Hard to beat days like these topped off with stunning views, epic sunsets, good meals and even better company.

We’ve been based out of Stewart Island for a change of pace — and it’s safe to say it delivered 🌅

Hi there,
Just a quick update regarding your bookings. With the recent increase in fuel prices due to global situations, we’ve had to make a few adjustments moving forward.

For your current booking, rather than increasing the charter price, I wanted to give you a couple of options while keeping your agreed price of $1800 for up to 10 people:

• We can head out for oysters
• Or we can target a good-sized blue cod

If you’d prefer to do both oysters and blue cod, that’s still an option too. Just let me know by the Friday prior (the day I receive updated fuel pricing for the following week), and we can work out any additional cost based on fuel and travel distance to make it happen.

Appreciate your understanding, and look forward to getting you out on the water!
