Day 1 on the Canyon Spirit – Denver to Glenwood Springs.

What an incredible start to this journey through the heart of Colorado. Today we boarded the Canyon Spirit in Denver and travelled west through some of the most spectacular scenery the American West has to offer.

From crossing the Continental Divide through the historic Moffat Tunnel to winding alongside the Colorado River, every turn revealed another breathtaking view. Towering mountains, dramatic canyons, rushing rivers and endless landscapes made it impossible to look away from the window for long. The route showcases iconic highlights including Gore Canyon and Glenwood Canyon, landscapes that are best appreciated from the comfort of the train. ⁠

The onboard experience was just as impressive, with delicious meals, great company and plenty of opportunities to soak in the ever-changing scenery. As the sun began to dip behind the mountains, we arrived in the charming town of Glenwood Springs, ready to relax and explore before continuing the adventure tomorrow.

If day one is anything to go by, this is going to be an unforgettable journey.
