Christine took one look at this downhill section on our Ride to the Lake tour and decided, “Nope, I’m walking this one.” 😂
And fair enough. There’s no rule saying you have to ride every metre.
Sometimes the smartest line is the one you walk. 🚲

First day of spring and what a way to kick it off 🌱🚴‍♂️
Our first guided e bike tour of the day, cruising through the beautiful Hansen Farm on our Ride to the Lake tour. Fresh spring air, mountain views, quiet trails and Queenstown putting on a pretty spectacular show.

One of my first big e mountain bike rides, and still one of my favourites.
Isthmus Peak, high above Lake Hāwea near Wānaka.
This ride was a big part of why I fell in love with e mountain biking. Big climbs, huge country, and that feeling of being able to explore places I never thought I could reach on a bike.
This is where the addiction really started.

The flooding has gone down and everything turned out okay at Country Lane. Huge thanks to everyone who chipped in and helped out. Great community effort all round.

A bit of flooding around the Women’s Shed and Country Lane today, but everyone’s pitching in and getting it sorted. Three pumps are working hard, moving the water into the stormwater drain, and things are looking under control.
A great little community effort. Everyone helping out, keeping an eye on things, and making sure everything’s going to be alright.
