These are not eBikes. They are electric motorbikes.

⚠️ Attention E-MOTO riders! ⚠️

E-motos are not permitted on the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club or Queenstown Trails, period.

We’re seeing more and more reports of dangerous interactions between trail users and e-motos, and they’ve even been spotted on trails that aren’t officially open yet.

E-motos are powerful, heavy, fast, and silent, causing damage to the trail surface and posing a risk to hikers, runners, and cyclists.

And just to clarify, e-motos are not the same as e-bikes.

Please respect the rules and keep e-motos off the trails.

If you see any motocross bikes on the trails (whether e-motos or otherwise), take photos and report them immediately to 03 441 0499.
