Our familiar home for the next week …a different apartment down the road from last years hosts…Maria and her daughter Yolanda … we love it here very rustic and authentic, groceries done, home cooked dinner last night by me and lovely Provence Rose w**e
Today consisted of some work this morning then a stroll across the road for a swim before heading to Maria’s for lunch … it was a feast, a humble home lots of laughter and google translate going crazy on the table as the interpreter 😂😂🙈 at one point it said “this is a mess “ 😂😂 memories made 🩷

It’s been a few days since we arrived .. Air NZ and Turkish Airlines .. we will wait to share Istanbul with our group on the way home … Air NZ stretch seats second time we’ve paid a little extra for these and what a godsend..that little bit of extra space makes all the difference on a Long haul flight .. Hong Kong it’s been a while lol … around 30 years so good to see you again ..buzzing busy and a convenient stopover to catch your breath ..Spain you always delight .. beautiful old buildings in the historical centre, beaches, fresh produce, warm climate …why wouldn’t you 🤩

The days are flying by as we approach our departure date for our Hosted Egypt and Turkey Tour!!

After working this week full time attached to my desk 😳 I think I’m making progress getting all my August and September documents ready 🤔🤔🤔🤔…then looking at all the files on my office floor I’m still to do …I wonder if I am 🙈🙈

So please know I’m working like a little Trojan if you are travelling in the next 8 weeks and you will all be getting your personal Travel APP’s and documents before I leave 🩷

I will have some coverage here in NZ while I am away as well as keeping an eye on things from Europe.

So the countdown is now on … our hosted Egypt Tour is just over a month away …we’re all organised my end ☺️ now it’s just waiting for our documents to arrive and our group catch-up so we can all meet up here in Kapiti before we head off on our adventure.

We have managed to secure the best guides ever …can’t wait to see you again Ahmed and Amira 🙏
