A few weeks ago on safari in South Africa, some of our travelers pulled me aside and said “Kook, we want to hike the Dolomites with you next.”

So we got to work.

Hut to hut trekking through the Italian Dolomites is one of the most sought-after experiences in adventure travel. It’s also one of the hardest trips to actually pull off on your own.
