VISIT SAKURA PARK A PIECE OF JAPAN IN THE CORDILLERAS! 🌸

Tucked away in the highlands of Atok, Benguet, the Benguet–Kōchi Sisterhood Park, better known as Sakura Park, offers a rare and breathtaking sight — authentic Japanese cherry blossom trees in full bloom.

Established in 2016 to honor the 40-year sisterhood between Benguet and Kōchi Prefecture in Japan, this picturesque park sits 2,300 meters above sea level in Barangay Paoay. With two beautiful varieties, Yakiwari Sakura (pink blossoms) and Sindaya Sakura (white flowers), the cherry blossoms typically bloom from late January to early March.

Set within Haight’s Place — a historic flower farm with a café, accommodations, and local produce stalls — Sakura Park provides a serene escape surrounded by vibrant flowers and the stunning Cordillera mountains.
