Bearcat Travel We are a boutique tour company that creates unique travel experiences. You want a run-of-the-mill tour? Look elsewhere. The best thing about it?

Bearcat Travel extracts you from the beaten trail and exports you to a happier, tour-group-free place. We hit the hidden gems that nobody's talking about on TripAdvisor, or we hit the stuff everybody's talking about and make sure that your experience beats theirs. You have a say in where this is all going. We know you don't have time to surf through 400 websites and come up with a perfect itinerary on your own. And you're definitely not looking for a group tour. It's early days for us, but here is what we offer at this point:

- Tailored adventure tours in Bohol (including Cebu, Siquijor or Southern Negros if you want).

- Island Expeditions in Northern Palawan. We act as a consolidator for these 3- to 5-day expeditions, with camping on remote islands around El Nido and Coron

- Available from March '16: Landcruiser tours in Northwest Cambodia. Explore remote temples, kayak with Irawaddy Dolphins, or camp with endangered gibbons

This documentary follows the Yangil Tribe and Subic Aeta communities as they rise beyond the label of โ€œclimate victimsโ€ and step into their role as true climate keepers, regenerating native forests and restoring balance to their ancestral lands.

For over a decade, in collaboration with partners like MAD Travel, their work has gone beyond reforestation, building sustainable livelihoods, strengthening culture, and nurturing education through collective action.

Centered around the Sulu Sea, the film follows fishers, marine park rangers, conservationists, business owners, and enforcement officers whose lives are closely connected to the ocean.

Starring Alessandra de Rossi and directed by Kanakan-Balintagos, the film explores the Palawan concept of fate, where nature responds to humanity's actions. Today is World Bearcat Day ! ๐Ÿพ

To celebrate, Bearcat Travel is thrilled to announce our partnership with the women-led youth environmental NGO (CS).

CS works to protect this threatened species across our beautiful island of Palawan by preserving and restoring bearcat habitats while training the next generation of local conservation leaders.

The tree-dwelling, popcorn-scented bearcat โ€” or binturong, as itโ€™s known locally โ€” faces growing threats from deforestation and the illegal pet trade ๐Ÿ™

Bearcat Travel is doing its part by teaming up with CS to help protect the Teneguiban Pangolin Conservation Area (TPCA), an important bearcat habitat right here in El Nido ๐Ÿ™‚

We look forward to working with CS to organize hikes and other eco-friendly activities across the TPCA.
