We are pleased to advise that Travpol is involved in an educational event at Mennonite Open Air Museum in Wielka Nieszawka/Gross Nessau coming week.
“Our Mennonite Neighbors”, fair at Olender Ethnographic Park in Wielka Nieszawka/Gross Nessau.
September 7, Sunday, many craftsmen will come to open-air museum with various shows and workshops.
Weaving wreaths, making pots, painting ceramics, decorating gingerbread and spinning ropes are just some of them.
Those interested will also be able to take part in excavations, watch silent, black and white films or learn to tie women's scarves in a traditional way.
A big attraction for the youngest guests will be the village playground, horseback riding or carriage rides.
In pens specially prepared for this occasion, participants will meet calves, donkeys, goats, chickens and geese.
The event will be accompanied by a fair of organic food, handicrafts, flowers, vegetables and fruit.
As always, there will be plenty of antique stands at the fair.
In a separate culinary zone you will be able to eat traditional delicacies, drink coffee and taste sweets.
One might be able to sail to the open-air museum in rafting boats, which will be waiting for participants at the former AZS Marina, Toruń/Thorn , 1 Popieluszki hours: 10.00 AM - 12.00 PM, 2:00 PM, registration: www.wolnawisla.pl ).
