POV: you have several days in Portugal and no idea where to start 🇵🇹➡️

CASCAIS
Unmissable: Boca do Inferno at sunset, the old town marina area, Praia da Rainha right in town

Best beaches: Praia da Rainha if you want convenience, Guincho if you want space + wild Atlantic energy (bring a jacket, it’s windy)

To eat: fresh seafood right off the marina, grilled fish is the move here not pasta

SINTRA
Unmissable: Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira’s initiation well, Moorish Castle walls for the views

Underrated but a must visit: Monserrate Palace, way less crowded, still stunning gardens

Eat: travesseiros from Piriquita, sit outside with a coffee and people watch

ÓBIDOS
Unmissable: walk the medieval walls (free, insane views), the castle itself

Must try: ginjinha in a chocolate cup from any street stall, it’s a rule not a suggestion

Best time: anytime spring/summer

NAZARÉ
Unmissable: Sítio viewpoint above the lighthouse, watching the wave even if you don’t surf

Best beaches: Praia da Nazaré itself, huge and sandy, good for a normal beach day too

Eat: grilled sardines and octopus, this town is famous for them, get them at a beachfront tasca

ÉVORA
Unmissable: Roman Temple (just standing in the middle of the city like nbd), Capela dos Ossos (chapel of bones, eerie but worth it)

Eat: alentejana food is different from Lisbon, try migas, açorda, and the black pork if you eat meat

Underrated: the whole old town is walkable in a day, don’t rush it

Days spent out on the streets, tuk tuks going up and down the hills, unexpected stops for something delicious along the way, and the city slowly getting its rhythm back.

Our forecast for the next few days?

🌞 Lisbon at its best
