Today after a walking tour my clients wanted to lunch something popular in Porto, very light, without calories and zero cholesterol 🤣
So we had a Francesinha at Café Santiago 🤤
Francesinha is a sandwich with lawyers of bread, cheese, ham, beef, fresh sausage, paprika sausage, more bread, more cheese, egg, fries and a delicious gravy 😋 🤤

Proposal today in Douro Valley 😍

Today the day was even more special in Douro Valley ❤️
I received a email from a client that want to surprise his girlfriend and propose her during the tour 😁 we tailored the tour to his needs and we had an amazing day 😍
We start the day in Quinta Da Fonte Do Milho and we had a great time tasting 3 wines (white,rose, Orange and red), olive oil, olives, olive tappenade and Jams 😁 the dogs are a extra blast 🐕
After we stop in some viewpoints for breathtaking views 😍
We drove through Pinhão and stoped there and we did 1h private boat, during the boat ride he propose her and she said YES 🥳🥳
To celebrate we did a picnic at Quinta da Pacheca with wine and Port Wine tastings 😁
I m so Happy that everything went like we planned and wish all the best to this beatifull Couple 🙏

Proposal today in Douro Valley 😍

Today the day was even more special in Douro Valley ❤️

516 Arouca Bridge and Paiva Walkways 😍🇵🇹

Today we walked Arouca Bridge and Paiva Walkways (5km or 3.1 miles) 😁
We parked the car in Alvarenga and walked (1km or 0,6 miles) untill the Arouca Bridge 😁 After passing the bridge we continue and walked the Paiva Walkways during 1h30 (4km or 2,5 miles) 😲
After we finished the walk near Vau area, we picked a taxi back to the car 😁
To end the day we have an amazing lunch, local beef steak (Posta Arouquesa) at Restaurante A Varandinha 🤤

Loquat (In English) or Nesperas (Magnórios in north part of Portugal) are now in season too 🤤
If you are visiting Portugal you will see this fruit in a lot of trees and in all markets 😁
It's a fruit that when you give a bit is juicy, slightly sweet and slightly tart 🤤
Loquats are great antioxidants, with Vitamin A and Potassium 💪
Dont be afraid to taste them, peel the skin, cut them in half, scoop out the seeds and Enjoy 😁

What about stopping on the middle of the road or on the wineries to grab some fresh cherries from the tree? 🤤
Cherries are ready to eat in Douro Valley 😁
Every year I stop in Peso da Regua to buy some cherries from a local lady that is selling on the sidewalk 😁 today i just bought 2,5 kilos (5,5 Pounds) of cherries to bring home (enough for 2 meals 🤣) for 10 euros 🤤

- Bifana at Conga Restaurant
- Hot dog at Cervejaria Gazela
- Rojões Sandwich at Casa Expresso try with house wine Espadal (rosé)
- Pull Pork at Casa Guedes
- Francesinha at Café Santiago
- Smoked Pork Loin at Casa Louro
- Presunto Sandwich with or without Cheese at Casa de Presuntos "O Xico"
- Prego em Pão (beef) at Venham mais 5
