Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
After a short briefing from your safari guide, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara is known for its large number of baboons, blue monkeys, and vervet monkeys. It’s also home to tree-climbing lions, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site before continuing your game drive. Afterward, head to a mid-range lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five: rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and elephants. The crater floor is also home to approximately 25,000 different mammals, including birds such as flamingos, cranes, ostriches, pelicans, and more.
If interested, plan a visit to a Maasai village for a cultural experience (extra charges apply). Enjoy lunch at a picnic site in the Ngorongoro Crater. After the game drive, ascend and drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, known for its beautiful landscape and large elephant population. The presence of baobab trees makes the park unique. Apart from animals, the park is also home to a variety of bird species.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site before starting your journey back to Arusha, where your tour ends.
