QUILT #11 FOUND A HOME! My friend and neighbor Lisa Holt organizes a fund raiser for breast cancer at her work Capital Electric, they raised over $30,000... So amazing! I donated a Quilt #11 (a pink one) in the Trail of Quilt giveaway(I have been giving away quilts all this year). Our friend JoAnn won the quilt! Such a great event and fun night.

Looking for a wedding planner with experience who is interested in working for a venue. Does anyone have any contacts?

They said this Hemingway pouch is addictive and you can't make just one. Correct.

Long day...owning your business is exhilarating yet sometimes the days are long. Today we started at The Velvet where we had to make a few layout changes, and I fell not once...but twice on the job site. Luckily I am fluffy and I am a bit scratched up but fine. N ext, off to Art Nest where we clean the training area, do light maintenance, organize, and set up for the new groups. The hosts were arriving today so we stayed and checked in a new host, showed her the ropes and talked shop. We drove back to KC and went straight to our rental and put up new blinds, curtain rods, cleaned and did hot tub maintenance. About 9 pm we went for a bite to eat and then finally home. I'm watching football a sec to decompress them off to my office to do some emails and paperwork. I'll finish about 11 tonight. It's not glamorous but worth it.
