We wrapped up the Maria Shell workshop at Art Nest...it was a fabulous week!! Everyone created great work. Retreats never cease to amaze me, the amazing people you meet and learn from and feel bonded to after time together. We had locals, 2 from New York, 2 from Indiana, 2 from Colorado, and 1 from San Diego. This group included professionals, and a retired wool dye maker, a retired pattern designer, a quilt shop owner, a restaurant owner and lawyer. Isn't that impressive!! Maria is planning the next event for 2026...we all can't wait!

Still working on my Trees of Paradise quilt I started at retreat. I will need a better layout as this is to chaotic! I have always loved to trees blocks...finally doing it! Retreats give you the time to really get going on those projects!! Retreat with Art Nest!!

Collage Class!!!!

Join Judy at Sew Enchanting Equine in Agency Missouri for a Collage Class! This will be a 3 day class. The first day Judy will will walk you through fabric selections, a collage is the perfect project to help use up some of your scraps, then you will start prepping your fabric. On the second day you will start putting your collage together using Laura Heine's technique. You should be able to finish your collage on the third day. You do not need to bring your sewing machine.
