Frank called us last night after arrowing a deer, he had searched, found blood, but couldn’t find the deer. We rolled out this morning with Glowing Northwoods Cinder who has been training all summer for this moment. She tracked this deer approximately 300 yards, crossing a brook twice. So glad we could help. We are licensed dog trackers if you need help recovering a wounded animal give us a call!
Help I need a tracking Dog!!!!
Shots fired. Saturday evening at 5:50pm I shot a Doe, I had a really good blood trail. With only a half hour of daylight I got to excited and took right off after her. Yup about 50 yards away I hear a deer take off. I look around for a few minutes and decide I need to get better flashlights and some spare batteries. I also reach out to a few people to come help me look for her. So three of use go trudging through the woods for 3 1/2 hours looking for her. We find the bed where she laid down. We track her for 200 yards, at the end we are finding match tip size drops of blood every 10-50 feet. Don’t forget in the dark with flashlights. We decide that we might as well go home and come back in the morning. So during this time I had reached out to Glowing Northwoods Guide Service, I mentioned to Danielle Lea that I could use a hand if she had some time available in the morning. We were able to set up a time to go look in the morning.
Here we go. Danielle meets me at my secret hunting spot!! We walk in to where the last blood was found. An hour later I hear I found her, GOOD GIRL CINDER. Glowing Northwoods Cinder was awesome. Don’t forget 3 people walked around in circles for an hour in this spot 13 hours earlier. I’m thinking im glad they are here looking for me but I pretty much did everything wrong I didn’t wait before tracking and I walked all around ruining the trail.
Glowing Northwoods Cinder and Glowing Northwoods Guide Service. Thank you very much.
