Rogue Expeditions is a unique Austin-based adventure travel company that creates run-centric vacations around the world. Our itineraries are designed to combine unique, authentic travel experiences with organized, supported daily runs in unforgettable places, and to accommodate all levels. WHERE WE GO

We currently offer trips to Morocco, Kenya, Patagonia, Slovenia & Croatia, Ireland, British Columbia, Nicaragua, South Africa, Baja, Iceland, The Balkans, and Oregon! HOW IT WORKS

We do not focus on races, but rather upon using your own two feet to experience a place. The international trips are expedition-style, traveling to a new destination each day, while the domestic trips feature a home base format with epic runs set up on different area trails each day. Through a method of route design and vehicle support, we are able to cater to all ability levels and enable participants to get up close and personal with the destination, resulting in experiences, connections and memories that last a lifetime.

It’s been a big week of adventures in South Africa and yesterday was one for the books! 🇿🇦

We started the morning hiking along the stunning coastline, crossing towering suspension bridges, before heading deep into the Tsitsikamma Forest for an afternoon canopy tour through the treetops. We wrapped up the day sharing fireside South African potjiekos (delicious outdoor stews) by our local team with stories around the table well into the evening.

It’s been a phenomenal year of adventures running several trips across Slovenia and this week marks the final hurrah for the season! 🇸🇮🏔️🙌

With an excited crew of trail runners in tow, we’re in for a big week of adventures! Stunning trails, world-class meals, experiencing Slovenia cultural firsthand, unforgettable stays, and a new group of friends to dive head first into the adventures with!

While grey weather may have rolled in, it certainly doesn’t stop the beauty of these landscapes taking over.✨

You’d be hard-pressed to visit South Africa without exploring w**e country! 🇿🇦 But, of course, we do it to the Rogue way which includes a stunning trail run through the gardens, rolling hills, and a nearby nature reserve before dipping our toes into the rich w**e culture.

A full day!! 10 miles on cruisey trails, finishing at a stunning w**e estate for an incredible picnic spread, an afternoon to sit back and relax, then off to another w**e estate to test local w**es while overlooking the gardens, all before a five-star meal to finish the night.

Does it get any better than this!?

Here’s to our inaugural Run Japan 2026 trips 🇯🇵❤️🗻

We’ve officially wrapped up our second week of our first year running through diverse and awe-inspiring regions of Japan!

A world of thanks to this week’s phenomenal crew who came for the running adventures and brought all the fun!! From the sunny days, steep trail climbs, the mountainous meals, the rich cultural immersion, the endless laughs, too many 7-eleven stops to count, a final night singing karaoke, and shared memories made between new and old friends.

To our runners, our incredible guides and local team, and everyone involved - dōmo arigatō gozaimasu!! 🫶

The sun is shining, the skies are blue, the lake pathways are the perfect running grounds, and Mount Fuji is out!! 🗻🇯🇵

After some big days on the trails, our crew took to the cruisy lake pathways with incredible Fuji views. Top it off by running straight to the onsens for a hot soak, and off to lunch for an authentic robatayaki (fireside grilling) experience.

Somehow these days just keep getting better and better!!

Run Alpe-Adria, what a trip!!

Our crew came together and experienced it all with big smiles on their faces. Farm-to-table meals, dreamy fall weather, amazing single track trails, new friendships and too many special memories to count.
