With Labor Day coming up, our crews in Bangor are preparing for a long weekend. Out on the hangar floor, our mechanics are doing some heavy prep work of a different kind.
Andy, Benje, and Brian are clearing the way for engine removal on a Saab 340. Mike is getting this ERJ 135 ready to install freshly overhauled landing gear straight from our landing gear shop. Emmanuel is prepping a refreshed galley to go back into an ERJ 145 and Thomas is adjusting the brackets ahead of ductwork aboard the same aircraft.
To our friends, crews, and colleagues stateside, have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.

About our rebrand: Well, folks, we listened. While our recent decision to use only the color blue to distinguish our brand was bold, after much thought, we’ve decided to bring back Uncle Chris and the Cessna Citation parts barrel to our classic sign in Bangor, Maine. Now, with more than 12,000 Cessna Citation parts in stock, C&L is the largest aftermarket stockist for Cessna Citation XL, XLS, Sovereign, and Latitude.

The C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper has officially landed in Teterboro, New Jersey, where Flexjet Regional Manager Michelle Post was spotted rocking it in style. Fashion and function are hallmarks of the mechanic romper and, when we reached out for her initial impressions, she was simply speechless.
Thanks, Michelle!
Could she be the new face of the C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper?
You tell us.

Today’s Aircraft Mechanic Romper photos come to us from Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) in Hampshire, UK where Grégory shares that the high summer temperatures in Southern Europe have almost certainly highlighted the value and importance of such freedom inducing attire. His trusty dog, Domingo, pounced on the opportunity to join the photoshoot and shared Grégory’s sentiment. And while the romper initially gave him paws, they both agree; it’s incredibly cool, even if it’s a little ruff around the edges.
Thanks, Grégory!
Could Grégory and Domingo be the new faces of the C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper?

✈ Celebrate National Aviation Week with the kiddos by crafting some of these cool variations of the paper airplane!
Today's Aircraft Mechanic Romper photo comes from our very own Chris in IT, who recently found himself scrolling LinkedIn where he came across a photo of Brandon Chavis from Drift Aerospace in his C&L freedom suit. Chris told us 'When I saw Brandon, my first thought was man, I look good in an Aircraft Mechanic Romper.' Then, in a moment of clarity, he realized 'Wait a tick, that's not me.' Not to be outdone, he dusted off his fan and headed to the warehouse for an impromptu photoshoot. But did he bring it?
It's on.

Today’s C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper photo comes to us from Jet-A in Allentown, Pennsylvania where Mark and Grace are ringing freedom vibes on the hangar floor. Mark was inspired to don a new look over a conversation with some of our people and his sheer drive to look fabulous at work. He’d also heard how liberating it was in day-to-day workflow. Of his new outfit, Mark adds ‘Sizing is a little off maybe,’ and shares that there’s not much wiggle room in the XL. Thanks, Mark!!
The contest is in full swing. Could Mark and Grace be the new faces of the C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper? You tell us!!

We are a global aviation services and aftermarket-support provider for regional and corporate aircraft specializing in quality parts, service, sales, leasing, maintenance, aircraft refurbishment and aircraft re-marketing.
We make aircraft ownership more economical by providing all of our services in one location: our state-of-the-art 140,000 square-foot facility at Bangor International Airport in Maine, where for more than 20 years, aircraft have been coming for maintenance and inspections.
And to make things even more convenient for our customers, we also maintain sales offices and warehouses around the globe.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
We hire the hardest working, most knowledgeable people in their field. From our Interior Shop Manager, who has a passion for making customers’ visions a reality, to our exacting Chief Inspector who won’t let an aircraft leave the hangar unless he’d be comfortable putting his family on it, the people who make up C&L Aviation take pride in what they do.
ONE-STOP-SHOP
We believe in a one-stop-shop approach to aircraft maintenance, because ferrying aircraft from one facility to another wastes time and money. So we built everything we need—from a fully-stocked warehouse with an extensive spare parts holding to the northeast’s largest aircraft paint hanger—right here in Bangor.
MORE THAN MAINTENANCE
After more than 40 years in the regional aviation industry, we applied all of our knowledge, networks and experience to the corporate aviation world. And we hired the best of the best in that field, too. Today, we offer many different corporate aviation services, from maintenance and interior refurbishments to aircraft management and sales. We even offer charter services under our Part 135 charter company, SevenJet.
