Some places stay with you long after you leave. Today our Spanish Steps group discovered one of them.

Hidden in the green heart of Umbria, the beautiful Abbey of San Pietro in Valle is one of the true treasures of the Way of St. Francis. Standing beneath centuries old frescoes, surrounded by silence, history, and faith, our walkers experienced the kind of moment that makes a pilgrimage so much more than a hike.

The Way of St. Francis is filled with spectacular landscapes, charming villages, and unforgettable encounters, but it is places like San Pietro in Valle that reveal the deeper soul of the journey. Every stone tells a story. Every step connects us with those who walked these paths long before us.

Our group is continuing toward Assisi, carrying with them not only memories of beautiful scenery, but also the inspiration that comes from discovering extraordinary places along the way.

Would you like to experience this journey for yourself?

Join us October 17–24, 2026, for our next Way of St. Francis pilgrimage from Terni to Assisi.

This special departure takes place during the Franciscan Jubilee Year marking the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus, the passing into eternal life, of St. Francis of Assisi: a unique opportunity to walk in his footsteps during a year of celebration, reflection, and pilgrimage.

Spaces are limited. Come walk with us through the landscapes, history, spirituality, and hospitality of Umbria, and discover why this journey touches so many hearts.

Via Francigena, Lucca to Siena, greetings from the trail!
Our group is moving through Tuscany together, following the pilgrim signs, sharing stories, laughter, beautiful views, and all those small moments that make a walking journey unforgettable.

This route is stunning: cypress trees, hill towns, quiet country roads, and the golden beauty of the Tuscan landscape. But what makes it truly special is walking it with people who bring so much joy, curiosity, and spirit to every step.

Buen Camino from the Via Francigena.

Join us on the Via Francigena from Lucca to Siena, or continue all the way to Rome. Our next journey begins September 5, 2026.

Italy in the fall has a special kind of fullness.

The vineyards are ready, the olive groves are alive with the promise of harvest, and the hills of Tuscany, Lazio, and Umbria glow in softer light.

This is the Italy we love to share: old pilgrim roads, stone villages, wine country, olive oil, sacred places, local tables, and the warmth of walking together.

Our fall journeys are carefully chosen and personally guided, with time to slow down, meet the places, enjoy the food, and feel part of the landscape.

Walk the Via Francigena from Lucca to Rome, as a full 22 day journey or in shorter sections. Or follow the Way of St. Francis through Umbria, from Terni to Assisi.

Discover true Italy walking in the fall.

Our first Camino Way 100 journey of the year brought together an incredible group, walking the final 100 km to Santiago along the legendary Camino Francés.

Led by two exceptional guides:
Jen, with over 10 years of experience guiding the full Camino, she knows every corner, every story, every quiet moment along the trail.
Ramón, a passionate mountain expert who, over the past three years, has been sharing the hidden language of nature: birds, plants, and the landscapes that shape this journey.

Together, they create something more than a walk, a true Camino experience.

Our Spanish Steps group has reached its destination along the Cammino Materano.

After Altamura, a spectacular detour took us to the Pulo di Altamura, an enormous karst sinkhole hidden in the wild landscape of the Alta Murgia.

Then on to Gravina in Puglia, with its dramatic canyon and stunning bridge suspended between history and stone.

From there, we walked through the woods of Difesa Grande and reached Matera in the most unforgettable way: crossing the canyon, passing ancient frescoed rock churches, and climbing up into the magic of one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.

A huge thank you to our fantastic first Spanish Steps group on the Cammino Materano, and a very special thank you to our wonderful guides Graziano, Ben, and Virginio, who made this journey so memorable.
