One of the best parts of being a travel advisor isn’t booking the trip. It’s getting to be a tiny part of the memories along the way. ❤️

I recently booked a Disney trip for a family who told me they’re celebrating their daughter’s HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION! 🎓🏰

They wanted to stay at the same resort they’ve been staying at for years.

So I went back and looked…

The first Disney trip I booked for this family was in 2016. 🥹

I started as a travel advisor in 2015, so I’ve had the absolute privilege of helping this family with their Disney vacations for nearly 10 years.

And honestly, that part is pretty special.

It’s one of those moments that makes me stop and think, Wow. I really get to do this for a living. ❤️

And then there’s my own daughter…

Who I’m sure will be graduating from high school and heading off on her own Disney celebration before I know it. 😭

For now, she’s more interested in getting REALLY close to our security camera and seeing how big her nose can get. 😂

Apparently this is hilarious.

One day, I’ll be the mom booking her graduation trip. ❤️

I know it may seem funny to post about a client’s vacation price going up… but hear me out. 😂

My client originally booked a Garden Wing room at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for $6,832.95.

When the new spring 2027 promotion was released, I checked her reservation to see if we could do better.

The promotional rate for her original room category would have been less, BUT a much better option opened up:

🏰 Main Tower — Theme Park View
💰 New total: $6,935.33

So for just $102.38 more than her original reservation, she now gets:

✨ Main Tower location
✨ A balcony
✨ Theme Park View
✨ Views of Magic Kingdom
✨ The monorail running right through the Contemporary

And here’s the part I really love…

That same room without the promotion is $8,341!

So yes, her vacation price went up a little.

But her room got a HUGE upgrade. 🙌

This is one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor. I don’t just book the trip and forget about it. When Disney releases a new promotion, I go back through my clients’ reservations and look for opportunities to save money, upgrade their room, or simply get them more for what they’re already spending.

Sometimes the best deal isn’t the lowest price. ❤️
