Ive been getting a few question this year about what im doing in the river. Here's the rundown- as of last year, I added a jet boat to my arsenal. Got it basically for the springtime during the walleye run and musky opener, and now, for bass fishing.

In June, the majority of our bass in Green Bay start to spawn and the fish in our tributaries start to wrap up. Instead of targeting fish during their spawn or bedded fishing, I would rather switch gears and go where they are done spawning.

That being said, the month of June and part of July, I'll be offering river trips out of my jet boat. If interested reach out, the last few trips have been a blast. Top water bite is just heating up.

First salmon trip of the year in the books. Had some buddies from MN kick off the year right. The average size fish this year has been very impressive, and it’s only going to get better.

Wrapping up on the first week of the WI musky season. Looking back to opening morning - took us a whole 20 minutes to boat the first musky of the day. After releasing the fish we got ready to start fishing again and the very next cast we hook up again. Hell of a start to the season.

Update for KT Guide Service. Starting NEW for the 2026 opener musky trips - I am adjusting my cancelation and refund policy.

Background info - Since March I've had over 20 cancellation requests. I understand things happen that are out of clients control but last minute cancellations are often times hard to fill and put a financial burden on my business. This spring has been tough, I haven't had this many cancellations since Covid. That being said, here are my new changes that will take effect beginning for Musky Opener.

A non-refundable deposit of $200 per trip is required to book a date. 2 trips $400 deposit, 3 trips $600 deposit and so on. ALL clients are required to pay the deposit.

ANY CANCELATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE TRIP results in half the price of the trip due.

ANY CANCELATION WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THE TRIP is responsible for the full price.

IF WEATHER OR ICE DOES NOT ALLOW US TO GET OUT - YOU WILL BE REFUNDED YOUR DEPOSIT.

By booking a date you are responsible for paying a deposit and agree to these cancellation payment terms.

Deposits can be made by Venmo, or check by mail

Payments can be made by Venmo, check, cash, or Credit card for a 3% fee

I know having a flexible cancellation policy is important, but I also have to look out for the longevity of my business. I appreciate all of my clients support, and hope you understand.
