Raised in the coastal waters of Cape Cod, Duxbury Bay, and the North Shore, Massachusetts oysters are more than a local delicacy. They're part of our coastal heritage and a thriving aquaculture industry.

October is a great time to celebrate the farmers, flavors, and traditions behind these briny favorites!

🦪 **October 10: Oysters & Art: Shuckfest, Duxbury** — Enjoy local oysters, art, live music, and shucking demonstrations.

🍻 **October 10–11: JP Oysterfest, Boston** — Head to the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain for fresh Wellfleet oysters, live music, and specialty brews.

Up for a pumpkin road trip?

Fall puts on a show throughout Massachusetts. Between farm stands and pick-your-own patches to thousands of glowing jack-o’-lanterns, there are so many fun ways to celebrate the season.

🍂 Snap a photo by the nearly 25-foot pumpkin wall at Wilson Farm in Lexington.
🌾 Make an island escape to Morning Glory Farm on Martha’s Vineyard for farm-fresh fall flavors and pumpkins.
🎃 Head west of Boston to Tougas Family Farm in Northborough, where the pumpkin patch is filled with classic and specialty varieties.
✨ Then see pumpkins in a whole new light at Halloween on the Hill at Long Hill in Beverly, where more than 2,000 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns illuminate the trail.
