Today is all about B for Blue Whale. Spotting one of these pelagic giants in the open ocean is an absolute bucket-list experience for any diver. To put their scale into perspective, a blue whale's tongue weighs as much as an elephant, and they can filter up to four tons of krill in a single day. They're also the loudest animals on Earth, using low-frequency pulses that travel up to 1,000 miles underwater. 🌊

Gravity is optional in the Spiti Valley. 🏔️🐆

From the steep scree slopes where the majestic Himalayan Ibex navigate sheer drop-offs to the vertical granite cliffs where the elusive Snow Leopard hunts, this high-altitude corner of India is like nowhere else on Earth.

Our founder, Graham Casden, spent days on non-existent roads, trekked extreme mountain passes, and sat on freezing cliff edges to capture these incredible moments—and the mountain delivered.

Leaky goggles = a ruined swim session! 🥽💦

Finding the perfect fit isn’t about buying the most expensive pair—it’s all about the seal and the strap.

Use this 10-second test to find your match:

1. The Suction Test (No Strap Needed)
Press the lenses firmly to your face without using the strap. If they stay suctioned for 2–3 seconds on their own, you have a leak-proof seal! If they drop immediately, water will get in.

2. Check the Nose Bridge
A gap near the inner eye corners means the frame is too wide. Pinching means it's too narrow.

3. Strap Placement
Position the head strap high at a 45° angle towards the crown of your head—never low near your neck, or it will slip mid-lap.

4. Ditch Hair Snags (For Kids!)
Tired of pre-lesson tears from pulled hair? Look for goggles with soft cloth or mesh straps instead of sticky silicone!

5. Protect the Anti-Fog
Never wipe the inside of your lenses with your fingers or a towel—it strips away the anti-fog coating! 🙅‍♂️

The A-Z of Marine Life. 🪸🤿 Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting the incredible biodiversity that makes our dives so unforgettable, straight through the alphabet.

We’re kicking things off with A for Anemone.

Did you know that sea anemones aren't plants at all?

Despite their flower-like appearance, these beautiful reef residents are actually carnivorous predators. Armed with microscopic harpoons called nematocysts, they paralyze passing prey—and they aren't completely stuck to the reef, either. If conditions get rough or a predator approaches, they can detach their base and glide, somersault, or even swim to a new neighborhood!
