Some of the best days in Transylvania County start with following someone who knows these mountains by heart. ✨

Our local guides and outfitters know where the trails lead, when the light hits the waterfall just right, which river section fits your comfort level, and where to grab a good meal after it’s all over. They don’t just show you around. They help you experience this place in a way you probably couldn’t on your own.

Whether it’s a guided fly fishing trip, a mountain bike ride through Pisgah, a llama hike, or your first time river snorkeling, there’s a local ready to help you find your next adventure.

FOR THE RECORD… popcorn is not our #1 pick for trail snacks… but the salt will help your electrolyte levels! Our favorite trail snacks are trail mix and beef jerky. And what’s better than a snack in front of a waterfall?!

Thanks to Scott Justus, Fire Marshal and EMS Coordinator, for these reminders on how to Leave It Better and Prepare Yourself for Adventure! Make sure you’re familiar with all of our preparedness tips so hopefully you and Scott never have to meet out on the trail. 😉
