For just a few hours each morning, Iran’s Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, affectionately known as the “Pink Mosque’s entire prayer hall is bathed in a dazzling, kaleidoscopic rainbow of light. It is an absolute masterclass in Persian architecture, proving that light can be just as powerful a building material as stone and tile. Masha Allah!

While this daily symphony of light is what draws crowds from all over the world, it is actually just one of the mosque's spectacular features. Beyond the morning glow, visitors are treated to incredibly intricate Panj Kāse (five concaves) design work, stunning pink-hued floral tiles that gave the mosque its nickname, and magnificent traditional stalactite vaulting known as muqarnas.

It is a masterpiece of design through and through, every single detail from the floors to the ceilings; tells a story of profound artistry.
