Built in 1738, Drayton Hall plantation is located on the Ashley River about 15 miles outside of downtown Charleston. It is one of the best and most preserved examples of Georgian-Palladian architecture in the United States. Drayton Hall is the only plantation house in the country to have survived the Revolutionary War as well as the Civil War.

Happy Fall Everybody! It’s a perfect time of year to visit the beautiful Hopsewee Plantation! Chicora Tours provides transportation from Downtown Charleston, SC to the plantation in our luxurious Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van.

During the experience you will tour the Thomas Lynch house (Signer of the Declaration of Independence), a Gullah Tour, an authentic Low country lunch and our famous Wine by the (Santee) River.
