The countdown has begun — after a major restoration project that included more than 200,000 pounds of steel, the historic Walnut Street Bridge is just one month away from welcoming you all! 🎉

Walk your first steps on the bridge since 2025 on Saturday, Oct. 3 and make this the biggest celebration Chattanooga has had yet, from the South to North end. We'll be joined by local businesses, artists, and so much more — save the date and stay tuned for details!

Join us as we visit Six Flags Great America for the first time and see what merch they have for their 50th anniversary! We also ride Wrath of Rakshasa, a record-breaking dive roller coaster that opened on May 31, 2025. Come explore the Legacy museum in the back of the Emporium gift shop to see the exhibits on just how much the park has changed over fifty years. We also try to figure out how to navigate the complicated Flash Pass system for Prestige Passholders!

Before leaving the city lights behind, we spent Day 1 exploring the sights, sounds, and iconic bites of downtown Chicago.
