Welcome back to Chattanooga, Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Girls’ Soccer State Championship! Chattanooga loves hosting this tournament, and it’s always a joy to see the athletes, coaches, family members and friends who make the trip from the four corners of Tennessee.

Congratulations to Isaac Duncan III and Virginia Anne Sharber on receiving the 2026 Ruth Holmberg Arts Leadership Award from Arts Build! 👏

Isaac’s large-scale metal sculptures, dedication to arts education and work mentoring emerging artists have enriched Chattanooga for years. Chattanooga Tourism Co. and IRONMAN USA - South partnered with Isaac on the 2024 IRONMAN Chattanooga finisher’s medal, commemorating 10 years in the Scenic City. We’re grateful for his creativity and outreach.

Virginia Anne Sharber, executive director of the Hunter Museum of American Art, is a longtime partner of Chattanooga Tourism Co. Her work expanding access to the arts and elevating local institutions helps build a vibrant creative economy for our community.

Last week’s International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) World of Bluegrass was full of music and warm hospitality, and our marketing team was right in the middle of it.

From the first day of the IBMA Convention to the Southside evening Rambles, Bluegrass Live and Pickin’ in the Park, our team captured photos and videos of the musical experience. Their work shows what it’s like to live and play in Chattanooga and helps attract more visitors to the Scenic City. Big thanks to our entire marketing team for being on the move! 🎶

International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) World of Bluegrass® is underway in Chattanooga. Today’s IBMA Business Conference brought the bluegrass community together at the Chattanooga Convention Center, with City of Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly and Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp welcoming attendees.

Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen set the tone with a live performance. Then Tim Stafford took on “From AI to G-Runs,” looking at how bluegrass has changed since his last IBMA keynote in 1994.
