The wild Chincoteague Ponies are currently off the island and will not return until Friday afternoon following Pony Swim Week events.

If you’re visiting before then, don’t worry! There’s still plenty of incredible wildlife to see on the water, including dolphins, Bald Eagles, Osprey, pelicans, and beautiful coastal scenery.

If seeing the ponies is your main goal, we recommend booking a tour for Friday afternoon or later.
