AD | Teddy Roosevelt called this drive the prettiest 52 miles in America and it all starts in Cody Yellowstone
The East Entrance of Yellowstone might be the park’s best kept secret. It’s an insanely scenic drive that starts in Cody Wyoming, winds along the breathtaking North Fork Highway, climbs over the snowy peaks of Sylvan Pass, and drops you straight into Yellowstone’s Lower Loop just minutes from Mud Volcano.
While 50-70% of Yellowstone visitors enter through the West Entrance, only about 8% use the East Entrance, making it one of the best ways to avoid the crowds, skip the hour long wait times, and experience more wildlife and untamed beauty along the way.
Known as the Rodeo Capital of the World, Cody has a wild west energy that’s impossible to ignore. With its own airport and easy access to both Yellowstone loops, Cody Wyoming is the perfect home base for seeing more of the park in less time!
