Want some advice? Take the tour! Sure, you can read about a city or know some history, but there’s nothing better than having a private guide or small group tour to really appreciate the culture and learn from a local!

I have been to Athens four times and finally visited the Acropolis with a private guide. What a difference! Can you imagine having a chef take you on a walking food tour? Priceless!

Imagine being greeted with “Welcome home!” by the massaria owner…it is not a hotel and not a restaurant…you are a guest in their home amid a centuries old estate and 1000 to 2000 year old olive trees. Adding unique experiences should be a part of every trip!

Today we journeyed from Lecce to the heart of Puglia. First stop was to see four generations of tradition at a masseria and learn the history of the farm, along with the process of making mozzarella and burrata cheese.

The next stop was at the workshop of an artist who creates a modern version of light exhibits that decorate local village festivals. I even created one!

I love hearing stories of real life from people who are passionate about what the do!

We ended the day at another massaria that is also a beautiful hotel!
