I will defend these resort truths forever, because I keep seeing people book the wrong thing and then act surprised.

The room upgrade is worth it, every time.

Not the tiny little “better view” situation, I mean the suite with real space, a balcony you’ll actually use, and an ocean view that makes room service feel like a plan.

I’ve had clients hesitate on the upgrade, then text me from the suite saying, “Okay, you were right.”

Same story with all inclusive.

If the restaurants are actually good, the whole trip changes. You’re not trapped in buffet purgatory, you’re rotating through steak, sushi, and a beachside lunch that feels like a win.

And adults only versus family friendly?

That choice matters more than most people think. One gives you quiet pools, late dinners, and zero cannonballs. The other gives you energy, kids’ clubs, and a completely different pace.

Pick the wrong one, and you feel it the entire stay.
