She visits destinations throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean to tour resorts and their wedding locations in order to best assist with your dream wedding and honeymoon! In addition to romance travel she also loves to help families, singles, and groups find a special destination that will create everlasting memories. Lucca is such a beautiful little gem in Tuscany. A historic walled city that still has completely intact Renaissance walls.

I loved wandering through the streets and exploring Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, a beautiful oval piazza that was once an ancient Roman amphitheater.

The kind of place you can just wander, stop for a spritz, and embrace la dolce vita.

Cinque Terre is a stunning coastal area on the Italian Riviera in northwest Italy, famous for its five colorful villages perched on rugged sea cliffs.

Manarola is a picturesque cliffside fishing village in Liguria and the second-smallest of the five Cinque Terre villages. It’s also recognized as one of Italy’s most beautiful small villages (I borghi più belli d’Italia). I’m not the least bit surprised.

Riomaggiore: The easternmost/southernmost village, featuring steep streets, a charming rocky harbor, and vibrant sunset spots. We hiked the Via

Monterosso al Mare: The largest village, featuring the region's only wide sandy beaches and a resort-like feel. We had a great afternoon at a beach club enjoying sarti spritz and mellon with prosciutto.

Vernazza: Widely considered the most picturesque village, featuring a medieval harbor, a historic castle tower, and stacked pastel houses.

Corniglia: The smallest and quietest village, unique for being perched high on a cliff with no direct water access. Every corner we turned felt like a hidden gem with postcard perfect scenery.

The variety of fresh regional cuisine is a favorite aspect of traveling through Italy. We did a pesto-making class and aperitivo at Nessun Dorma, which has an incredible view and a really fun atmosphere. Trattoria dal Billy is known for its views, but the fresh fish and seafood unloaded from a boat in the harbor just before being served is delicious. For something more casual, dine under the lemon trees at Focacceria A piè de Campu which serves some of the best focaccia in the region. The prosciutto with fresh fig was the perfect sweet and savory combination.

I hate to pick a favorite, but Manarola is a strong contender.

Cinque Terre. Five towns built into the cliffs along the coast of the Italian Riviera in northwest Italy. They are only accessible by train or boat. It may not have the same notoriety as the Amalfi Coast, but the charming colorful homes perched on the hillside have a similar appeal.

We are staying in Manarola, considered the most authentic of the five towns. Tomorrow, we will venture out to explore a few of the towns by hiking a scenic cliffside trail combined with some train routes.

After sending clients here for the past two decades, I am so excited to experience it first-hand.

Touring resorts is part of my job. Falling in love with them is an occupational hazard.

The deep exhale. The “this is perfect” moment. The memories that are talked about long after the suitcase is unpacked.

Is every part of running a business glamorous? Not even close. But getting to turn something that was once just a vision into a tangible long-awaited experience. Makes it all worthwhile.
