We offer whale watching excursions and deep sea fishing adventures for rockfish, crab, salmon, and tuna out of Depoe Bay, Oregon. on Coast. Bring your fishing license and something to eat, and we will take care of the rest!

5-HR bottomfishing trips for rockfish/ling cod depart daily at 7:00 AM, with the option to add crabbing. Coho Salmon fishing is open in the summer and fall, call our office for the current dates! Albacore Tuna fishing is available during July-September, as long as the water is nice and warm! Gray whales migrate during the winter/spring, however, Depoe Bay is lucky enough to have what we call "resident" whales that will feed along our coastline throughout the summer time as well. Anytime from March through September is optimal for viewing whales with the best ocean conditions! Give our office a call and we would be happy to get you out and answer any questions you may have! We are located at 118 Hwy. 101 in Depoe Bay, Oregon at the North end of the Depoe Bay bridge and just South of the only traffic light in Depoe Bay. We look forward to meeting all of you!

After being landlocked for almost an whole week, the Tradewinds Charters fleet had another excellent day on the water. The Outer Limits, Mariner, Mr. Max, and Kadaho all reported steady action with a great variety of Rockfish coming over the rails, and consistent bites keeping anglers busy throughout the day. A few nice Lingcod also made it to the docks, rounding out a strong overall catch across the fleet. Most clients limited out on Rockfish.

A special shout-out goes to Henry and Jax aboard the Outer Limits for doing a fantastic job today!

The entire Tradewinds Fleet was out on 5-hour Bottom Fishing trips today, and overall it was a fantastic day on the water! The fleet finished close to limits on Rockfish across the board, along with a very respectable Lingcod catch to top things off.

We still have space available tomorrow before the ocean takes a turn for a few days, so now is a great time to get out and fish!

The Kadaho and Outer Limits both reported a phenomenal day of fishing today! Between the two boats they finished just a few Rockfish short of limits, along with an improved Lingcod bite with 15 and 18 fish landed on the trips.

The ocean forecast looks great heading into the weekend, but spots are limited, so now is the time to get on the schedule!

The Tradewinds fleet reported mixed results today, with the overall bite seeming a bit slower than it has been recently. Big shout out to Sylvie’s River Charter School for absolutely slaying it on the Kadaho and bringing in limits of Rockfish! We love getting the opportunity to take school groups out and see the younger generation out Fishing and enjoying the ocean. They kicked butt today!

Ocean conditions are looking a bit rough for the next couple of days, but we’ll be back at it next week and ready to get back on the fish.
