Mother Nature definitely made us earn this one! 🌬️🎣

The wind was relentless today, but this father and son came ready to fish and never gave up.

Despite the tough conditions, we stayed on the bite and caught plenty of action, including rat redfish, speckled trout, largemouth bass, and the fish of the day, a beautiful 23-inch redfish!

One of the highlights of the trip was this snook. It wasn’t a giant, but snook are still a pretty uncommon catch along the Alabama Gulf Coast, making it a really cool surprise and a catch they’ll remember.

Not every trip is about calm water and easy fishing. Sometimes it’s about adapting, staying after them, and enjoying every fish that comes over the rail. Thanks for spending the day with Blue Line Charters! Looking forward to having y’all back!

Sometimes all it takes is a little patience.

This family of five from Indiana stuck with it after a slow start, and it paid off! We finished the day with a great catch of flounder, redfish, and puppy drum.

The highlight of the day belonged to the oldest daughter, who landed an absolute slot-limit giant measuring just under 26 inches. That’s about as big as you can keep in Alabama! She also added several more nice redfish to cap off an incredible day on the water.

Arkansas came to Orange Beach ready to fish! 🎣

This awesome family completed the Inshore Slam by catching a redfish, speckled trout, and flounder, plus added a few puppy drum to the day’s catch.

We also hooked into a couple of absolute giants that had everyone fired up, but they managed to shake loose before we could get them to the boat. That’s fishing… and a good reason to come back!

Mississippi came to fish, and they delivered! 🎣

We put together an inshore slam, added a few sharks and puppy drum, and finished the trip in Mobile Bay.

One of the highlights of the day was watching the youngest angler land her very first redfish, a beautiful 24-inch fish! Her older brother also checked two new species off his list by catching his first flounder and his first shark.

Congratulations to the whole family, and thank you for spending the day on the water with Blue Line Charters. We appreciate y’all making the trip from Mississippi!

Repeat customers are the biggest compliment a captain can receive!

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with this awesome husband and wife from Oregon on his second trip with Blue Line Charters. The bite wasn’t on fire, but we stayed after them and put together a fun day on the water with a nice flounder and even a bonus shark to keep things interesting!

What a fun day on the water!

Today we had a great family aboard with two locals bringing their South Carolina family to experience fishing on the Alabama Gulf Coast. They put together an awesome mixed bag, catching keeper redfish, flounder, speckled trout, white trout, and puppy drum! 🐟

⭐ One of the biggest highlights of the day was completing the Alabama Inshore Slam by landing a legal redfish, flounder, and speckled trout all on the same trip! That’s always a fun accomplishment and one we love helping our customers achieve.

We welcomed a great crew all the way from Texas this morning, and they put together a nice mixed bag! 🤠🎣

The highlight of the trip was a mess of speckled trout, along with plenty of puppy drum, and flounder to round out the day. A fun morning on the water with some quality fish headed back to the dock!

Trip #2 today.

A great three-generation crew out of Kentucky — grandfather, father, and grandson — on the water with us in Mobile Bay.

We stayed working the bay most of the trip and picked away at steady action with redfish, flounder, and puppy drum coming over the side. Not wide open, but consistent bites and a solid day with good company.

Trip #1 today was with a great family from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area! Mom, Dad, son, and daughter spent the morning on the water and put together a nice mixed bag. They caught some quality redfish, speckled trout, and a few puppy drum—plenty of fresh fish to take home and enjoy.

The bite wasn’t wide open, but everyone caught fish, had a great time, and made some memories together. That’s what it’s all about!
